Igloo Reef Beanie
Igloo Reef Beanie is the first release of the Igloo Reef Collection!! This pattern contains a fun combination of stitches simple enough for an beginner who has mastered the basics of crochet.

MATERIALS
• Red Heart Super Saver in Reef and Aran
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• 6mm hook
• Pom Pom Maker (optional)
PATTERN NOTES
• Gauge swatch of 3” by 3” is 8 rows by 10 hdc
• Completed beanie measures approximately 10 ½ inches tall by 20 inches around. To make beanie larger increase starting chain in sets of 3, and to make beanie smaller decrease chain in sets of 3
• Any worsted weight yarn will work for this pattern
• The beginning part of this pattern is worked in rows and sewn together, then the pattern is worked in rounds. Only join rounds when stated in the instructions.

• SL ST-slip stitch
• SC-single crochet
• HDC-half double crochet
• HDC DEC-half double crochet decrease
• DC-double crochet
• CL-cluster; sc, hdc, & dc all in same stitch
