Iguanodon
This pattern is for an iguanodon, written in US crochet terms. It is of advanced beginner skill level. There are no complicated stitches but the amount of shaping would make this a difficult pattern for a complete beginner. It is expected that you can make a magic ring or loop, can increase and decrease, know the difference between the front and back loops, know how to change colour and can crochet in both rows and as a continuous spiral. You can use any yarn weight providing that you use an appropriate hook so that the stuffing does not show through the stitches. The samples were made using 65g of Stylecraft Special DK weight yarn for the main colour and 10g for the contrast. I also used 10mm safety eyes, though these can be embroidered instead. Using these materials the iguanodon measure 40cm in length.
Many thanks to my pattern testers for their help checking this pattern for errors and ease of use.
