This is a lovely top and a lovely knitting project. The yoke is knit in the round with some stranded work, some slipped stitches and twisted stitches, with either frequent contrasting color changes or variegated contrasting yarn.
At the bottom of the yoke there is a Latvian braid.
The body and sleeves are knit with silk-mohair, making the second half of the project smooth sailing.
Lots of texture and colours and very comfortable to wear.
The pattern is inspired by the shells of sea urchins, with their intricate dots and furrows.
