The iHeart Breakfast Bag is a unique and functional crocheted purse. It is suitable for all ages! You like breakfast? Or brunch? Then this is the next make for you.

The pattern is worked using the beautiful waffle stitch along with front and back post stitches. There are customizable elements to the pattern:

• you can easily adjust the length of the bacon strap
• go with 1 or 2 straps
• use different weight yarn if you prefer. The only requirement is that you have a square to meet gauge after row 12 (this is needed to keep the heart shape)
• add a lining or don’t add a lining
• or just choose a color that isn’t typical of breakfast food!

Once you work through it once, the pattern is easy to pick up fast and wip out. I made 4 bags in one day so it is a fun option for craft fairs!
