28 May 2023: This pattern is exclusively for students of my Basic Cuff-down Sock class offered at Yarn It and Haberdashery in Grandview Heights, Ohio. (Columbus, OH).

It’s a basic sock pattern that is worked from the cuff down, includes a traditional heel flap and heel turn along with gusset decreases.

Needle size is variable. Only one set of 40” needles needed.

Week 1: Students learn a variation of the long-tail cast-on and start knitting the cuff. Homework - knit the leg of the sock.

Week 2: Students knit the heel flap

Week 3: Students turn the heel and start on their gusset decreases.

Full pattern is provided to all students during week 3.
