SKILLS
To knit this cardigan you need to know how to knit
and purl, knit in the round, cast on stitches with any
method (although a provisional one is recommended),
make increases by knitting on the same stitch
twice and with the “make one away” technique (the
one most commonly used to cast on stitches at the
underarm, also known as the backwards loop method),
pick up stitches, make decreases, be familiar with
slipping stitches, and to bind off stitches. You also
need to know how to perform an i-cord bind-off.
CONSTRUCTION
This cardigan is knit top-down, i.e., it is started to
knit at the neckline by first knitting a band that will
become the button-band, and then you will knit
the yoke, shaping it with raglan increases, separate
sleeves from body, and continue knitting the body
flat. Then the resting sleeve stitches are placed back
on the needles and the sleeves are knit in the round
to the cuff. It is worked seamlessly, all in one piece.
It is worked in stockinette stitch. The body and the
sleeves are finished with a ribbing.

3.5 mm US 4 circular needles with a cablelength of 40 cm 16” for the neckband and yokeand 80 cm 32” for the body, or the requiredneedle size to obtain gauge (without blocking).

CONSTRUCCIÓN
Esta chaqueta tiene una construcción top-down, esdecir se empieza tejiendo por el escote haciendopreviamente una tira que constituirá la botonera,se continúa por el canesú realizando aumentos enraglán, se separan mangas y cuerpo, y se continúatejiendo el cuerpo en plano. A continuación, seretoman las mangas y se tejen en circular hastael puño. Se realiza de una sola pieza, sin ningunacostura. Se teje en punto del derecho y puntodel revés.
El cuerpo y las mangas acaban con unremate en punto elástico.
