MEASUREMENTS
Width at the widest point: 3” / 8 cm
Length: 45” / 114 cm
YARN
Original yarn: Lamana Como Cashmere, color 57
You can use any yarn with a gauge of approx. 22-26 stitches per 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
For scarf without changes you need approx.
131 yards (120 meters).
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
• US 4 / 3,5 mm straight needles or circular needles 23 ½” (60 cm) length cable
• stitch markers, scissors
GAUGE
26 stitches x 33 rows = 4”/10 cm in the cable stitch (chart 1) on US 4 (3,5 mm) size needles.
Since the scarf is quite narrow and long, the gauge of the finished product will differ from the gauge in the 4x4”/10x10 cm swatch and will be approximately 35 stitches x 27 rows per 4”/10 cm.
