Ilex is an elegant turtleneck in fingering-weight yarn with an all-over bobble pattern. This piece is ideal for everyday or special occasions — whenever you want a little extra oomph.

The Ilex Sweater is knit top-down in the round, with the beginning of the round at the centre back. The neck is a turtleneck of adjustable length (option for a non-turtleneck included) and there are short rows at the back neck for an improved fit. The raglan increases are made with yarn overs. The sweater is divided at the underarm and stitches are cast on across the underarm for the body and then picked up across the underarm for the sleeves. There are more stitches on the front of the sweater than the back for an improved fit across the bust. The length of the body and sleeves is adjustable according to your height and preference.

Available in eight sizes to fit a chest circumference of 30 (34, 38, 42) (46, 50, 54, 58) inches // 76 (86, 97, 107) (117, 127, 137, 147) centimetres. The sweater is designed with 4-6 inches // 10-15 centimetres of positive ease.

Total yarn required for this sweater is approximately 950 (1050, 1150, 1250) (1350, 1450, 1550, 1650) yards // 870 (960, 1050, 1140) (1240, 1330, 1420, 1510) metres.
