This is a pattern for fingering-weight ankle socks with a delicate and simple heel flap. This is an excellent pattern for beginners just learning how to do heel turns and insteps or intermediate/advanced knitters who want a quick but beautiful pair of socks!

For this pattern you will need about 200 yards or 180 metres of fingering weight yarn, one set of 2.5 mm (US size 1.5) DPN, and a needle to weave in ends.
