This pattern is for an illusion heart scarf, in which the heart will seem to appear and disappear depending on your viewpoint. When viewed straight on the pattern appears to be striped and when viewed from an angle the heart will magically appear.

I’ve made the scarf for a preteen girl, but it can easily be lengthened or shortened.

This scarf can be worked in any worsted weight yarn. For best results the gauge should be firm, and there should be good contrast in the two colors.
