Illusion Mandala is made in Overlay Crochet technique. This easy to follow pattern (18 pages) is written for one size. It contains step by step full written instructions in English using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms (stitch guide is given in the pattern). It also contains lots of pictures explaining all the tricky and difficult places.
A print friendly copy (with no pictures) is also included!!
TIP: you can square this mandala up with Dandelion Border or enlarge it with Joana’s border.
Crochet level: Intermediate (loads of front post stitches)
Materials:
- DK yarn in 4 colors.
- Crochet hook 4mm (G) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge.
- Scissors and Tapestry needle to weave the ends in.
Size: The size of the finished mandala depends on the yarn and hook you use. My mandala is approx. 39 cm (15 ½ inches) in diameter.
Gauge: After 8 rounds mandala measures 10cm (4 inches) in diameter when made with DK yarn
