This Dragonpine Designs pattern was designed by Patti-Ann Williamson.

The Illusions Bag pattern is written for DK, Worsted, or Aran weight yarn.

The bag is knit from the bottom up, starting with a provisional cast on at the Fairisle pattern, then finished by picking up the stitches from the provisional cast on and knitting the bottom border of the bag, down to a shaped gusset and then closed using 3-needle cast off or grafting.

Instructions are provided for both cord style handles, or thicker straps.

Light and dark blue sample is the worsted weight version with cord handles, knit in Cascade 220.

Beige and blue sample is the aran weight version with strap style handles, knit in Briggs & Little Heritage 2-ply.
