Ilo, ‘happiness’ in Finnish
What makes you happy? Family, friends, maybe your dog? Pretty yarn? Sunshine? Knit all your happy thoughts to this little shawlette. And when the grey day comes, remember all those things.

Yarn - Fingering weight yarn, 300-600 m. For shawl in several colors, 2/3 main color and 1/3 contrast color (one or several colors).

Shawl shown used 340 m of main color (The Alpaca Yarn co. Paca Peds, wool-alpaca-nylon blend in color Eggplant) and 160 m of contrast color (various scrap yarns).

Needles - 4-4.5 mm or to get gauge
Gauge - 22 sts and 28 rows / 10 cm in lace pattern – gauge is not important, but may affect the size of the shawl and yarn requirement
