A hat based on a 17th century example from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Belonged to a family De Graeff from Ilpenstein House in the north of Holland.

The pattern is a combination of instructions and a chart.
You will need two different colours of yarn, about 40-50 grams each. Size can be customized by changing gauge and/or adding a pattern repeat.
