The Im_jokki_2 is a timeless Aran-pattern cardigan that gracefully combines the most traditional diamond, honeycomb, cable, and moss stitches. Although the intricate patterns fill both the front and back panels, the harmonious arrangement of these motifs, complemented by the clean shaping of the armholes and neckline, along with the vertical button band and double high neck, create a design that exudes both minimalism and sophistication.

Practicality
The Im_jokki_2 is designed to be suitable for all seasons, except for very hot summer days. In spring and autumn, it can be paired with lightweight T-shirts or blouses. Despite the intricate Aran patterns, it remains thin and light enough to be comfortably worn under a coat in winter. Additionally, it is knitted with a blend of wool and mohair, providing excellent warmth. The Im_jokki_2 is designed to suit both women and men with equal elegance.

Size
For size selection, we recommend choosing a size that is approximately 10 cm larger than your actual bust circumference. All sizes, except for size 1, are designed to cover about half of the hips, based on a height of 160 cm. Size 1 (sample size) has a relatively short length, where the pockets of jeans are not covered.
To adjust the length, you can start knitting from the additional rows or change the starting point of the pattern to shorten the length.

Composition of the Garment
The back and both front panels are knitted separately and then joined together. The piece is worked bottom-up, starting with the waist ribbing, and the button band is worked at the same time.
The armhole and neckline shaping, as well as the shoulder slope, are done with a bind-off technique that avoids steps, creating smooth curves (SBO method).
The armhole and neckline ribbing are picked up and knitted, with the neckline ribbing being longer and folded for a double high-neck design.
