This shawl was designed specifically for the KNIT WITH FRIENDS Festival held on June 8-9 at Seminario do Vilar in Porto, Portugal.

All participants of the KNIT WITH FRIENDS Festival have been provided a coupon code to download the shawl for free.

For those of you not able to attend the shawl, you can get the shawl with 50% discount until Midnight Lisbon Time on the 10th of June, after this it will revert to it’s original price.

It’s an asymmetrical triangular shape combining sections of textured garter stitch and lace.

The initial set-up and row repeat is both written and charted, once the pattern has been established, there are charts only for the rest of the shawl. At the end of each section I’ve provided a row-by-row stitch count. There is also a separate PDF with enlarged versions of the charts.

I’ve written the shawl for three colours, but you can use as many as you like, below I’ve given generous estimates of yarn usage per colour:

colour 1: 220-300m / 242-330yds
colour 2: 400-420m / 440-460yds
colour 3: 620-700m / 682-770yds
