Immersion Wrap
ABOUT
The unususal shape of Immersion Wrap is the answer to my wish for a meditation blanket that wouldn’t slide down my shoulders, even when sitting still for a long time. Another criterion was to make it stylish enough to wear outside, so I don’t have to pack too much in my yoga bag.
The result is this versatile design: an elegant, striking scarf when worn around the neck, and a warm, cape-like wrap when draped over the shoulders and back. And it really stays in place.
The fitted shape is achieved through a mix of simple techniques which create a three-dimensional effect, making each knitting session relaxed and meditative. The bouncy drape of the pleated garter fabric makes this wrap delightful to wear – whether you’re on the go or at home.
Description

Dimensions
The finished scarf measures about 165 cm x 55 cm

to leave the finished piece unwashed since
the fabric relaxes through washing so the texture would
would loose its tension.
