I created my design to be simple and rustic and let the

yarn do the talking. I am also a huge fan of rectangles
and squares. I wanted to make a design that a beginner
knitter could enjoy, but one that a more experienced
knitter could also change up a little. Why not crochet
one side and knit the other and stitch together? Or
change it up with color blocks or stripes, or blanket stitch all the way around the edge in contrasting yarn?”\
