Impeyan
A beautiful yarn inspired this simple Moebius-shaped neckwarmer cowl. The Impeyan pheasant, the national bird of Nepal, has many-colored iridescent feathers similar to the iridescence in the MC yarn. A Moebius is a twisted circular fabric with only one side, one edge and no seams. Pattern requires the following skills: casting on for Moebius knitting, knitting in the round on circular needles. Most of the piece is worked in Moss Stitch.
Directions are given for one size cowl that is 38”/97cm in circumference and 5”/13cm wide.
Yardage requirements:
MC 42yds/38m, .85oz
CC 95yds/87m, 40g
