This blanket is made as a tribute to Aneesa Moola who passed on 7 August 2019. The centre of the blanket is a 47-round mandala, each round commemorating a surgery she had, the first when she was just 6 years old.

Aneesa “Impi” Moola will always be remembered for her courage and fierce determination to succeed against all odds. Aneesa was a brave warrior who endured so much pain through her numerous surgeries and hospital admissions and still managed to smile through all of this. She was an absolute inspiration to so many people.

The pattern includes a detailed photo step-by step instructions and also YouTube videos to explain placement of stitches.
