This shawl was inspired by the beautiful green colours of the yarn and the springlike beauty of them bought to mind buds shooting forth, unfurling and opening. A big hug of a shawl, this is one for chilly spring days or as a reminder that spring will come when you are in the darkest depths of winter.
The gentle crescent shape is worked with alternating pops of colour. The length of the short row stripes is completely adjustable without affecting the pattern, making it a great shawl for using up very small amounts of precious yarns or handspun yarn of indeterminate length.
