These unisex socks are quick to work up with a stitch pattern so easy to memorise that it is ideal to take along as a travel project, hence the name. The textured pattern adds subtle interest to socks worked in solid or lightly variegated yarns.
The two socks are identical, and the pattern stitch is given in both charted and written form.
The pattern is offered in four sizes, Small (to fit foot circumference 6.5”/16.5cm), Medium (to fit 7.5”/19cm foot), Large (to fit 8.5”/21.5cm foot) and Extra-Large (to fit 9.5”/24cm foot) when worked to pattern tension of 8.5 stitches per inch/2.5cm

You will need: up to 400 yards (360m) fingering weight sock yarn
2.25mm (US1) needles for knitting in the round, or size needed for gauge
Darning needle (for weaving ends)

You need to be able to: work in the round, work from either written or charted instructions, use Kitchener stitch to close toe.
