In for a Penny, In for a Pound
by Emjay Bailey
Gauge is not important however increase your needle size to 5.5 mm if you would prefer a larger and drapier poncho. Blocking will also affect the wear and size of your poncho. Block lightly to retain a thick fabric. Block aggressively (stretched and pinned) to lengthen and enlarge poncho for a more flowing garment.
You can also make a larger (longer and wider) poncho by adding more skeins of your main colour or contrast colour of yarn.
