“In My Mother’s Arms” was created to celebrate the comforting love of mothers as they hold their infants. I selected a soft acrylic yarn that can easily be washed and dried.

The main stitch pattern is a 4 row repeat and is easy to memorize. You have the look of cables without knitting cables.

I have included links to You-Tube videos to show you how to knit using a pass slip stitch over (psso) or a yarn-over (yo) if you have never done that before.

Difficulty level: beginner to advanced beginner.

Skills needed: longtail cast on ( you can use a different cast on if you wish), knit, purl, slip stitch purlwise, pass slip stitch over, purl yarn- over, bind off.“
