This large, cozy shawl, knitted from the bottom up, is shaped with angled stripes. I designed this as a stashbuster, using six different skeins from my stash. It can easily be made larger or smaller, or with more or fewer colors.

Once the first few rows are established, the pattern repeats the same two rows almost until the bind off at the end, with color being the only difference.

It’s very good for social knitting, and it’s completely reversible - the two sides look slightly different, but they both look like a right side! It’s a good introduction to simple color work. The pattern is written, not charted, and is suitable for a beginning knitter.
