Made for The Curious Crafter to celebrate the Summer’s Last Blast Yarn Crawl at Home in July 2020, In the Evening showcases Amano Sami yarn (100% Organic Pima Cotton).

In the Evening shawl is a top down triangular shawl with short row wedges and a simple lace border. It is easily adjustable for length. Just add the border lace and garter section one more time for a bigger shawl, but make sure to buy and extra skein to be safe on yardage.

Needles:
• Size 5 32” Circular Needle

Notions:
• Stitch Markers
• Tapestry Needle

Yarn:
• 3 Skeins of Amano Sami (100% Organic Pima Cotton)
or Comparable DK Weight Yarn
• If wanting to increase the size of the shawl by knitting the lace section twice, you will need more yarn. 4 skeins should do.
• Sample used the colorway 1808
Approximately 110 g / 360 yds used

Size:
• 50” Wingspan with 22” depth
If you’d like yours bigger, add another lace section with garter

Gauge:
• 4” Stockinette = 19 sts x 34 rows
After washing and blocking
