Size:
The finished size of this book will vary slightly depending on yarn, hook size and gauge, but mine measures 13 x 16 cm (5 x 6 ¼ in).

Materials:
Yarn: 8/4 cotton (sport/fine weight). I used Drops Safran (160m per 50 gr) in 15 different colours, all listed in the pattern. I recommend using cotton yarn as it sheds less and is more durable than many other fibres, and it is machine washable.

Hook: 2.5 mm.

Tapestry needle, scissors, and a stitch marker for binding the pages together.

Gauge:
My gauge is 28 sc/ 10 cm (4 in). However, gauge is not too important as long as it is not too loose and you keep your stitches even.
