In the Grass Zig Zag Socks
This sock design is an original design by Fran Carle, worked from the top down with a short-row heel.
The stitch pattern is available as a chart and written format as well.
In addition to the sock pattern, you will need the following material to knit your pair of In the Grass Zig-Zag socks:
Biscotte Yarn– Bis-Sock: 400 meters/437 yards. Sample is knit in – MC: the Chouette colorway; CC: Biscuit (For cuff, heels, toes).
Recommended- 60-70 grams of MC and 20 grams of CC of any fingering weight sock yarn. (I used 54 grams of MC and 11 grams of CC for the medium size).
Needles: 2.5 mm needles of choice (9” circulars, long circular needle for magic loop or DPN’s.)
SIZE: S, (M, L) (length is easily adjusted).
Gauge: 8 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch.
Notions: cable needle, tapestry needle for kitchener stitch and weaving in ends.
