In the Kitchen: Garter Stitch Potholder
by Anne Berk
This potholder will help you learn how to work Annetarsia in garter stitch. The fabric isn’t exactly reversible, but it’s close enough for most purposes. The two sides certainly are more similar than the two sides of the Stockinette-Stitch Potholder. Because there are typically more rows to the inch (2.5 cm) in garter stitch than in stockinette, the Garter-Stitch Potholder needs more rows worked if you wish to match the length of the stockinette potholder. Just keep following the pattern as established to desired length.
