Tunisian Crochet is done on a longer version of a standard crochet hook. After an initial foundation chain the standard stitch is worked as a repeated 2-row pattern - a forward pass and a return pass. The result is a fabric that looks woven in construction.

This stitch can be stiff and rigid so I made this pretty little blanket with a 6mm hook for a looser result.

As the top and bottom edges curl I made a border with a standard crochet hook. This pattern is easy to adapt in size.
