‘In the Sticks’ was inspired by the shapes found in leaves and twigs during mindless wanders in the middle of nowhere.

The shawl consists of two symmetrical triangles separated by a centre stitch. It is worked from the top down in one piece. The pattern .pdf includes both written and charted instructions.

Yarn choice and Gauge:
This shawl can be worked in many yarns. Fibres and weight are less important than choosing needles and yarn that give you a drape and stitch definition that you’re happy with. For guidance, below is the information on the yarns used in the samples in the photographs:
