In The Wind beanie, headband, and cowl patterns were inspired by the signature hot air balloon patterns of ascending rectangular blocks that spiral up the envelope. This is a very beginner friendly pattern that only utilizes knits and purls, with basic decreases for the crown. This pattern includes instructions for how to knit the entire piece in one color, and how to do seamless color changes that can be applied in a block of threes, but can be applied in a variety of creative ways. The pattern includes individual instructions for each piece and all pieces are worked using super bulky yarn. These patterns follow a multiple of three stitches, so sizing can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing cast on stitch counts in multiples of three.

Skill Level
Beginner: Knitting in the round and decreasing in the round are required skills (decreasing only for the beanie).
