I have recently started making MINchoate, this is the same pattern but I am using Scheepjes Catona 4ply and a 2.8mm hook, this makes a smaller inchoate (about 4 inches tall).

4mm hook

20 DC/SC + 16 Rows = 4 inches

2.5mm hook

36 DC/SC + 28 Rows = 4 inches
