Designer’s note:
This pattern was designed for a fine yarn with little to no memory or elasticity, specifically angora. The simplicity of the lace is forgiving to the bloom of angora and other “fuzzy” fibers, but also visually interesting enough to work well with sleek fibers like silk and mercerized cotton. All patterns I design for angora yarns are completed in commercial yarn first for finished measurements and yarn quantities as well as saving my eyesight when checking stitches during testing then made again with my handspun. For this design the commercial yarn used is Cascade Heritage 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon, 437 yards/100 g.

This pattern can be completed in any weight yarn with included length adjustment instructions.
