This cowl is created using my version of the Indian Cross Stitch that is used in needle knitting. This stitch creates a beautiful fabric.

To view a short video of the technique used to create the Indian Cross Stitch on the knitting loom, go to YouTube: https://youtu.be/jZ28lqNVdYo

The cowl is knit on a 3/8” gauge loom, like the All N One loom or the Martha Stewart loom using the small pegs in every hole. The cowl uses approximately 225 yards of a worsted weight yarn. The pattern also includes instructions to create this scarf using approximately 100 yards of a bulky (#5) weight yarn and a 3/4” gauge loom like the yellow 41-peg Knifty Knitter loom..

The pattern includes a pictorial tutorial showing each step of the Indian Cross Stitch pattern. And once you’ve mastered the Indian Cross Stitch, you could easily create your own shawls or blankets from this beautiful stitch.

This pattern is also included in my Cowls and Infinity Scarves eBook. This eBook contains 6 customer favorite patterns at a discounted price of $15.
