Also, according to Native American legend, the flower was used to paint the sky. It is the the Wyoming State Flower.

This shawl can be worked in three different sizes:
Small - 380 yards (shawlette size) - 54” length, 22” height
Medium - 490 yards (shawl size) - 62” length, 28” height
Large - 600 yards (shawl size) - 70” length, 34” height

The shawl starts out with casting on of 3 stitches. The small size shawl ends with 253 stitches and the large size shawl ends with 301 stitches.
