Indian Pipe Mittens
Step into the enchanting world of the Indian Pipe Fingerless Gloves, a simple creation featuring Estonian braids, flowers born from delicate nupps, and embroidered petals.
The mittens are simplistic in construction but have a refined appearance with embroidery petals.
These simple mitts are worked in the round, in one piece.
SIZING
Sizes: Small Child (Older Child, Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large, Adult XLarge).
To fit hand circumference: 5.25 (6, 6.5, 7, 7.75, 8.25, 8.75) inches / 12.5 (14.5, 15.5, 17, 18.5, 20, 21.5) cm.
Finished garment hand measurements: 5.5 (6.25, 6.75, 7.25, 8, 8.5, 9) inch / 14 (16, 17, 18.5, 20, 21.5, 23) cm
GAUGE, NEEDLES, NOTIONS
Gauge: 28 stitches and 36 rows = 10 cm in Stockinette st on US 5 / 3.75 needles.
Needles: US 2.5 / 3 mm DPN or 32”- 80 cm circular needles for magic loop needle.
Notions: 1 BOR, Tapestry needle.
YARN
Weight 1, superfine: Sock, Fingering, Baby.
The sample used The Frosted Stitch - Snowflake Sock – 100 gr/463 yards (75% SW Merino - 25% Nylon) - in Indian Pipe.

CONSTRUCTION
Worked in the round from the cuff up, from the wrist to the fingers, without seams, in one piece. You don’t have to worry about right and left, because both mitts are the same.
