This is a fairly easy pattern to knit, although I have to say that it was easier to follow the written instructions than the chart. I usually prefer a chart, but this one makes my eyes cross sometimes. The written instructions are easy.

It makes a large tote, 17.5 by 4.5 (flat bottom) by 12 inches high. Depending on how tightly you knit, it will shrink by 30 to 50% if felted.

This pattern isn’t as detailed as many, and assumes you know how to cast on, bind off and felt. It uses purchased handles although you can knit I-cord handles instead if you like.
