Indiola Mittens is a charted pattern using a base color (main color) plus 2 shades of green and 1 flower color.
I used Knit Pick Palette 100% wool fingering weight:

Coriander Heather (MC) 92 yds
Aurora Heather 41 yds
Forest Heather 36 yds
Garnet Heather 30 yds

First a cuff is constructed using a 1X1 2-color ribbing and then you work from 2 chart to form the mitten body with the thumb gusset. Then thumb is worked from a chart to continue with the flower motif.

Skills used: knitting in the round, basic knit and purl and decrease stitches, 2-color knitting, reading colorwork charts, making right and left leaning stitches, and kitchener stitch.
