This is an Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin.
In South Korea, some of dolphins were captured illegally and had to be kept as human entertainment in aquariums. However, due to the movement of many activists and groups, all Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins have been released into the ocean. On October 16, 2022, the last remaining Indo-Pacific dolphins in the aquarium, named Bibong, returned to the sea where he belongs.

Construction Note
Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin is built from snout to tail. The body and bottom belly parts are worked separately, and the side seams are later sewn with tapestry needles. The tail is made using the short row technique. The pectoral fin is made separately and sewn to the body.
