Indomable Cowl is a cowl knitted with two colors of heavy DK or light worsted yarn. It is worked top down, in the round, and seamless. It has 4 sections, each with a different stitch pattern. It is very easy to customize, since you can lengthen or shorten each section or adjust the width of the cowl, casting on more or fewer stitches at the beginning. Each of the sections contains the necessary information to modify the cowl, according to your preferences.

The cowl has a trapezoid shape, that is, it widens as you go from one section to another. This is achieved without making increases, since the stitches used in each section change the gauge and, therefore, the width.

Sizes: 1 (2).

Gauge: 17 sts x 29 rounds (10 cm/4 in) in the cable stitch of the first section, worked in the round and after wet blocking.

Suggested needles:
4.5 mm/US 7 circular needles or the size needed to achieve the gauge.
4 mm/US 6 circular needles for the ribbing or one size smaller than the main needle.
The length of the needles can be varied as needed. To work small circumferences, you can use double pointed needles, short circular needles or long circular needles using the magic loop technique.

Indomable Cowl es un cuello tejido con dos colores de hilado grosor DK o light worsted. Se teje en circular de arriba hacia abajo y sin costuras. Tiene 4 secciones, cada una con diferentes patrones de punto. Es muy sencillo de personalizar, ya que puedes alargar o acortar cada sección o también ajustar el ancho del cuello, montando más o menos puntos al inicio. Cada una de las secciones contiene la información necesaria para que puedas modificar el cuello, según prefieras. El cuello tiene una forma de trapecio, vale decir, se va ensanchando a medida que vas pasando de una sección a otra. Esto se logra sin hacer aumentos, ya que son los propios puntos usados en cada sección, los que permiten obtener una tensión distinta.

Muestra de Tensión: 17 puntos x 29 vueltas (10 cm/4 in) con las agujas principales en el punto trenzas de la primera sección, tejida en circular y bloqueada.

Tamaño de aguja sugerida:
Aguja circular principal de 4.5 mm/US 7, o la que necesites para obtener la tensión requerida.
Aguja circular de 4 mm/US 6 o de menor tamaño que la aguja principal para tejer el elástico del inicio.
El largo de los cables puede variar según se necesite. Para tejer circunferencias pequeñas, puedes usar agujas de doble punta, agujas circulares cortas o agujas circulares largas usando la técnica de magic loop.
