So easy to put on a wiggling toddler (no sleeves to try to get those arms into!), this poncho and hat set is very warm – like snuggling into a blanket!
The pattern uses basic stitches – chains, single crochet, double crochet and slip stitches. Difficulty level intermediate: working in rows, rounds, changing colors.
The pattern includes instructions for making the poncho (infant size 3-9 months; toddler size 1-2, & preschooler size 3-4) as well as the hat with its fringed flower. Both are made with worsted weight yarn and the finished items are not just cute, they are very warm and functional! (Model set was made using KnitPicks Swish Worsted yarn).
