Infinite Folly
I bought some pretty handspun yarn at a music festival called ‘FeelsGood Folly Fest’, and knew I needed to turn it into a one-skein wonder! Here is a moebius cowl which is knit using a swatch from a Lynne Barr ‘stitchionary’; the swatch is reversible, and it works so well in this cowl, which does not have a right or wrong side.
To knit this cowl you will need:
Approximately 104 meters/114 yards chunky yarn (The cowl I knit for myself is quite snug, so if you like yours looser, remember to purchase more yardage.)
6mm circular needles with a 101 cm/40 inch to 119 cm/47 inch cable (size 10 US)
2 6mm double-pointed needles
1 stitch marker
tapestry needle to weave in ends
Gauge:
Gauge is not super important, but you’ll want something like 14 stitches = 10 cm/4 inches in stockinette stitch for good stitch definition
Finished cowl: 19 cm/7.4 inches deep, 52 cm/ 20.4 inches around, unstretched
