Infinite Possibilities
by NellKnits
This pattern is more about the Untarsia™ colorwork technique than how-to-knit-a-hat.
You can easily use this method and motifs with a favorite in-the-round pattern - and with knit graph paper you can draw your own designs.
The parameters for neatness are that the design is a single stitch stacked, or flowing single outline so that there aren’t doubled stitches.
Worsted weight - 1 skein, of MC, 175 yards/ 160 m
Wee balls of CC’s for the assorted motifs
Gauge - 20 stitches, 28 rounds = 4”/10cm, in stockinette stitch.
Needles - Gauge needle and needles 1 size smaller
Samples are knit with 32”/81cm circulars using the magic loop method.
Notions: Assorted stitch markers, removable and closed.
Tapestry Needle
