I learned how to do a new stitch, so created a basic pattern for practice.

I don’t really know much about gauge and whatnot but, because this pattern is pretty flexible in regards to what hook size and yarn used, I don’t think it really matters all too much. Also, I found that about one skien of the yarn I used (roughly 204 yards) was enough for a regular, non-wrapping cowl. Just use whatever you think would work for whatever look you’re going for.
