SKEINO’s INGE SHAWL has been created by Bjorn in memory of his mother Inge Coordt. This would have been her 94th birthday May 2nd, 2018. She loved light weight shawls in pastel colors. This shawl, knitted on the bias in an easy lacy pattern, would have become her favorite piece. This is an elegant shawl showcased by the cloudiness of the fibers and lace pattern. The shawl is knitted entirely on the bias using a two-row-repeat, only by decreasing one stitch at the beginning and increasing one stitch at the end of every front row.

The combination of Extra Fine Merino and Silk/Kid Mohair makes the shawl a beautiful piece to wear for a special occasion.
