Knitting pattern for Ingebeth socks

Ingebeth is a sock with a delicate double leaf pattern that runs down the leg and foot. Ingebeth features a reinforced gusset heel and a band toe. The underside of the sock is worked in stockinette stitch to provide a comfortable walking experience. If you have leftovers from other sock yarns, feel free to get creative with contrasting colors in the ribbing and toe.

We have knitted the sock using our soft and durable Önling No 18, which is made of 75% non- superwash wool and 25% recycled PET (plastic) bottles.

Sizes:
Small (size 36-37 / US 5.5-6.5)
Medium (size 38-39 / US 7-8.5)
Large (size 40-42 / US 9.5-11.5)

The sizes can be adjusted so that you can choose to knit according to the stitch count for size small if you have narrow feet and knit them to the desired length. Conversely, you can knit according to the stitch count for size L if you have wide feet

Materials:
50(75)75 g Önling No 18, 100 g = approximately 459 yards (420 meters), 4 ply sock wool - non superwash with recycled bottles

Suggested needles: 2.5 mm / US 2 circular needle with a 60 cm / 24 inches length or 2.5 mm / US 2 double-pointed needles (DPNs)

Gauge: 32 stitches x 47 rows per 10 cm / 4 inches on a 2.5 mm / US 2 circular needle

Procedure:
The Ingebeth sock is knitted from the leg, down over the heel and foot, and finishes with a rounded toe. The sock is worked on circular needles using the magic loop method, but of course, you can use double-pointed needles if you prefer.
A sock with a gusset heel consists of: ribbing, leg, heel flap, heel turn, gusset, foot, and toe.
