Ingegerd
The Ingegerd sweater was inspired by my favorite place during hot summer days - a windy part of the coast in the Gryt archipelago. We go there for the beautiful view of cliffs and cobbles but perhaps mostly because it is quite windy and cooling.
I have chosen to name this sweater after my grandmother, Ingegerd, who loved to dance outside in the summer. The sweater is actually perfect to wear over a dress in the evening.
The sweater is knit top to bottom in a striped texture pattern with raglan sleeves in ¾ length. The sweater has a positive ease of about 10 cm. The sweater is designed with more width in the front for a better fit. The body can be knitted straight down from the sleeves or with a few decreases towards the waistline for a slight V-shape. The neckline is simple with a raw finish.
Pattern for Gauge is: 16 rows Stockinette Stitch, 4 rows reverse Stockinette Stitch.
Finished bust circumference: 80, 90, (100, 110), 120, 130, (140, 150), 160 cm Including approx 10 cm positive ease. For more measurements see project photo.
