Ingemunds leaf
This pattern is worked from toe and upp, using Judy’s magic cast on, a lace pattern so it looks like leaf.
The heel on this sock is knitted as a ordinary heel flap but from the toe and up. Here we increase stitches and form a wedge, then knit shord rows with wrapped stitches and turns to shape the heel and finally the stitches of the wedge are knitted together with the heel flap and then the heel is formed
Ingemunds leaf was born on April 2, 2020, a sunny and warm day in our large garden here in Sweden. After a walk out in the “village in the country” that I live in where I walked through a lovely forest grove with sheep on both sides of the fence, which was all that separated us. “
I took my pad, my pencil case with pencils, eraser, yarn and knitting
needles and sat on the back, in the middle of the grass and I started my favorite pod - #stickkontakt and let
my creativity, inspiration and joy sprout into a pattern. Which resulted in what you see now - Ingemund’s leaf.
The name Ingemund was chosen when Gudmund and Ingemund had name day, so it was a matter of
course as I love the name Ingemund. And the socks was named as Ingemund’s leaf.
I hope you enjoy the pattern. If you have any problem, please contact me
