This is a pattern for a pretty little pin cushion. I really think if you know basic crochet stitches you can easily make this pin cushion.

I prefer to use Balinese cotton from http://www.lynscrafts.com either baby yarn or sports yarn. Both are perfect for this project. Another one I recommend is crochet thread in size 3. You can of course use any type of yarn you like, but it will affect size and shape of the pin cushion.
